Order of the Vulture was formed in 2003. By the end of the year we had regrouped as a power trio with a new vision of what we wanted to accomplish. Merging D-Beat Crust Punk with the vitriol of Black Metal and riff crushing heaviness of Death Metal into an unholy trinity.

In 2005, we were about to enter the studio again to record all the new material we had been working on. We had already recorded and released Christ Killer as well as having the recorded the 3 tracks which later surfaced as the Martyr for Nothing Ep. But at that time, in 2005, those songs were in purgatory waiting on a failed split release.

This recording of a rehearsal shows some of the songs that came out on our first 2 full length at their genesis. These songs were released on a very limited cdr that we made when we played some shows in Seattle. That release had all the songs from the Christ Killer Sessions mentioned above as well as these rehearsal tracks. It is that limited cdr that we gave to Rob Hanna and started our relationship with Aborted Society. Total respect for Rob and Aborted Society for the dedication to our craft! He cannot be thanked enough!
